How do you collect breastmilk with the Elara?

The Elara offers natural suction to help with milk expression. To use it, squeeze the cup to create the desired suction, then center it over the nipple and areola and release the squeeze. The cup can hold up to 3 ounces at a time.

Elara Milk collector

I absolutely loved this for sitting or standing and nursing. It collected very well without overfilling. I did need to lay down a few times and wished that I could lay down with it but I couldn't. It does have the ability to suction to the breast, and pouring it was a bit hard. I dont know if there is another way to pour it out of the collector orher than opening it, and that was scary for me, I didnt want to loose my milk. Otherwise cleaning was easy. Thank you Ceres Chill!

Makes building a stash easy!

I am loving this milk collector. It is so much easier to clean than the other styles because it comes apart. It also dries really quickly since it comes apart. That means it's always ready for me to use when I need it. I've just been using it once or twice a day to collect a little extra and I already have over 5 oz collected in just about a week. It stays in place really well and doesn't leak because of the design and even as baby gets older I won't have to worry about it getting kicked out of place.
The suction is also much gentler Jean, another product that I've tried to use in the past.
Definitely recommend it.
